I was watching some youtube vids, and a few, have tried using pinesol mixed with water, too remove gunk off carbs. It worked! I am aware chemdip is nasty stuff. I wanna take my intake off, 98 corolla, and thought today, hmmm perhaps i could use a synthetic brush baster, and apply chemdip or pinesol too any crud gunk on the intake valves. Or, perhaps spray it into the air intake? let it sit 20 minutes or so, and careully wipe the carbon off?
Think this is a good idea? I am aware, most if not all intake cleaners, and carb spray only go so far. I wanna clean them 100% at least for 10,000 miles.

Carb cleaner and brake cleaner sprayed into the inlet will deal with any soft gooey deposits, the harder baked on stuff might appreciate a harsher chemical but don't use anything caustic if you have an aluminium head

The valves might not look that bad and really need cleaning, but who knows. Please take some good before and after pics with a decent camera and post them here.

I knew that, not too use anything caustic. It was interesting, too see pinesol mixed with water removed bakedon carb junk!
I will try to do my best too take pics:) I will use my laptop, i am notsure how too download pics from mycheap walmart family mobil phone, onto a computer laptop. tried it 2-3 times not too long ago, and missing some program that foes this was a message popped up.
