Your best option with price in mind is probably the Kumho Road Venture APT KL51. It has a high consumer rating on Tire Rack, scored very well in past testing by Consumer Reports, and is available on Tire Rack for less than $140/tire. It technically comes in two specifications that fit your vehicle, a P245/65R17 and a 245/65R17. Both will fit the same, both are priced very similar on Tire Rack, and both have an impressive A traction and A temperature rating. That's not common in this class of tire.
The other top tire I would recommend, and probably over the Kumho just because it uses newer technology, is the Firestone Destination LE2. It's $143/tire on Tire Rack, and is also a very good new tire from the folks at BFNA. This tire would probably be my first choice of the four I've listed here, even though it's not quite the cheapest. It's probably also easier to find locally than the Kumho would be.
If you don't care for either of those, my third recommendation would be the BFGoodrich Long Trail T/A Tour. Tire Rack sells them for $152/tire, and they're also a good tire. They're a little more aggressive than either of the first two, so they should have good snow traction and may be a little louder as well (typical trade off).
The General Grabber HTS is also a very good tire, available for $154 each on Tire Rack.
All of those prices are Tire Rack's prices, and will be "plus shipping". All in, including installation costs, you can probably get a better price locally, but Tire Rack is a good baseline from which to work.
