I'm looking for a good, cheap source for WY5W / 2827 bulbs in Canada. I see that O'Reilly in the USA carries a 2 pack of the Sylvania's for $2.49. It doesn't seem to be a stock bulb at auto parts stores north of the line though, with the 168 or 194 bulbs being substituted.

I see Mazda dealerships have them, but at a cost of around $5.50 each. A bit pricey for what should be a cheap bulb.

I suppose I could wait until I'm in the USA next, but I want to rewire my Sienna's side markers so that they are turn signals as well, and would like the 168NA replaced with the brighter WYW5 at the same time.

Only looked online. I'll make a stop in store, but I recall my local one didn't seem to have too many choices.

They only usually list the Headlights and very common bulbs on their website. I might be going there later to get some bulbs for my mustang. I'll take a look and see if they have a 2827.

The German dealerships would have them also. Like the Mazda dealership, they'll be expensive.

There is also non-polarized LEDs you can buy, try www.superbrightleds.com -- the non-polarized LEDs will work if you bridge the turn signal wire to the ground wire of the wedge bulb socket. This will cause the 2 bulbs to alternate the flash.
