Because I travel a lot for work, I only put miles on my truck on the weekends. So the truck is approaching 3.5 years, but only about 18k miles.
I know from reading on BITOG that air filters get more efficient with time, but I am also concerned about degradation of the gasket, and leakage, due to age.
So I am probably going to replace the OEM air filter when I change the oil in March.
Of these 3, which one would you pick? The OEM doesn't look like it has much of a seal, at least from the photo. I'd also consider Fram TG, Napa Gold, and PureOne. I don't consider the cost difference to be a big factor.
