Change it now, or let it run for a bit more?

I have a 2002 V6 4WD Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer with 61,700 miles. I am the original owner. I recently got back "into" doing my own maintenance so before 1,300 miles ago my wife would take the truck in for an oil change after the 5,000 mile "change oil" message came on.

The last oil that she had put in probably went for 8000 miles before I changed it out with Pennzoil 5w30 conventional. The truck manual calls for only 5W30.

I just bought 5 quarts of AMSOIL Signature Series 0w30 and want to use it. However, I wish to do a used oil analysis on the Explorer to see if there are any issues (yes, should have done it on the pre-YB oil, I'm still slow at this game). Is 1,300 miles on the Pennzoil conventional enough to get a good reading in a used oil analysis? Or should I let it go until say 2,500 or 3,00 miles? I was thinking of definitely doing it before the cold weather sets in, I suspect that at most that will be 500 miles more.
