I have never gotten a Costco pizza. We have some very good locally owned places we like that are much closer than Costco. Takes me 45 min 1 way to get to Costco.
We get Costco pizza often at my girlfriends place because the Costco is a 3 minute drive and she has 3 kids so we need two pizzas for everyone and Costco ends up being much less than the locally owned pizza place nearby. And the cheese pizza from Costco is super cheesy here, it’s comparable to a triple cheese pizza anywhere else, so it’s right up my alley 😊

There are 6 Costco's in my entire state of 5M people. Its really not a viable alternative for most people. If I had one that close I would likely be much less healthy because there hot dogs are awesome.

Now I’m craving one of them! I don’t know if you guys have the polish sausage option down there but we can get either a beef hot dog or a polish sausage, both are $1.50 with drink. I find that the polish sausage has more flavor 😋

Thankfully, I eat out about 98% less than I did ten years ago. I just got fed up with the declining service, inflated prices, and questionable ingredients. Maybe it’s part of getting older, but now I’m way more conscious of what I put in my body—back then, I just dumped anything I could find into my stomach because I felt invincible. 🫩

Ten years ago, our local pizza place (maybe 5 locations) would have a large cheese coupon on the back of the grocery store receipt--$8.99. It was a really good pizza, thin, etc. We had so many of them clipped and sorta felt guilty using them every time.

That place today is $17.99 plain cheese. At that time in 2015? In CT, a large pizza with toppings was $23! I'm pretty scared to ask my bro what it is now.

I'm not gonna lie I'm not "high class" lol! I can count the number of times I've been to a Capital Grille place on both hands. Today? If I see the Tombstone (top of the line) types of pizza go on sale for $3, I'll stock up. We throw Costco pepperoni on it (blanket them) and cook them in the toaster oven. They are not that bad.....
