Hello:
A Lubrication Engineer that calls on the factory where I work suggested a product called Lubemaster Premalube Xtreme Green grease to me as an (the) excellent all-around 1-size-fits-all grease for home and farm use. It is a calcium sulfonate base grease produced by Certified Laboratories. Is anyone familiar with it? Will it mix with the Amsoil synthetic that I have been using? Is this the same 'green grease' that AutoZone carries? Any information on this product appreciated.

Thanks!

Most likely yes. There has been discussion of this grease before. A search should bring it up.

I posted earlier a yet unanswered question about the GreenGrease https://bobistheoilguy.com/forums/t...rs-known-now-which-grease.79599/#post-1026409. In the meantime I spoke with a guy from GreenGrease who confirmed that it's lithium based, and contains no moly. He also said that it's been around for a while for heavy-duty machinery, farm, marine, etc. Recently they started selling it retail--e.g., Autozone. You may double-check with Green Grease and see if that's the grease the lube engineer was talking about. I'd be curious to know.

Thank you for the information. The Certified Labs grease would be different from the AutoZone Green Grease based upon your post. I have a tube of the Certified Labs grease, and the label states that it is a calcium sulfonate grease (hence not lithium). If interested, the Certified Labs grease can be viewed on their web site.
