Anyone know whats in this stuff? I just found it at BigLots.

It claims,

Nope, Mola, this is another member of the CD-2 family. Believe it or not, this is their version of Lucas....

psudaytona, this stuff is exactly the same thing as Lucas Heavy Duty Oil Stabilizer. 100% brightstock petroleum. Although, if you are really into Lucas, the CD-2 stuff can be found at Big Lots for $2.50 a quart instead of Lucas' $8-9....


Hold the bottle up next to one of Lucas and you can see how they even ripped off the language straight from the Lucas bottle.

Its just another snake oil additive. Every claim for it made in your post can be said of oil itself, and in fact is often said of oil in numerous advertisements. My favorite claim is "Provides extra protection for 4 cylinder and high performance engines". This of course is the same as saying that no 4 cyl. engine is a high performance engine, which is absurd. Didn't they even think about what they were saying when they wrote this?
