Unless you live in a really cold part of NM i'd say that CCA testing is good way to 'justify' selling someone a new battery, but if repeated tests show the CCA dropping fast the battery is on the way out. If you live in southern NM and the truck is in good shape, with good flowing synthetic oil I don't think you'll miss 100 "CCA". As just happened to me with an 8 year old Toyota OEM battery, though, these new battery designs can start an engine a number of times in a day and then be dead as a doornail that night. Might be worth getting another test at a different vendor, it doesn't take much excess resistance in a high current load test hookup to read a bit low.
