The fuel filter on my turbodiesel is $56 from the OEM.

I can get an adaptor for a CAV filter fairly cheap, and the filters are nothing like the cost of the OEM.

They also have a sediment/water bowl on the bottom so that you can see the junk, rather than having to drain it to see what's in your fuel.

Anyone got comments on these thigns ?

Absolutely no experience with the particular items. Any fuel filter with a sight glass in it should be an improvement. If the crud isnt there , then you dont have to open the system and waste time bleeding it afterward. Any data on micron sizes or flow rates to compare?

Andy, the filters are variously (through the company history) CAV, Lucas, and now Delphi.

I've no idea on micron ratings etc. as I've not been able to find a great deal of information.

BTW, the injection system is a licenced Delphi (no WVO for me).
