Sad to hear Catherine O'Hara passed. Sorry to see her go and at a relatively young age (71). RIP Ms. O'Hara.

I still recall seeing her on SCTV as a kid, sitting at home with my mom before I was school-aged
This intro always got me, seeing all those TV's being tossed off the balconies of the apartment building!

In the past 4 months, my son has watched Home Alone, maybe 6 times. I'm know she acted in various other productions but this role was/is heartfelt for us. May she rest in peace.

SCTV on Nick at Nite as a kid is my first memory of her, always thought she was hilarious. I thought the same thing when Schitt's Creek came out.

Very sad news indeed.

cause of death revealed to be a pulmonary embolism ( blood clot in the lung), caused by a battle with Rectal Cancer.
