Given that summer is on the way, I thought I'd share a simple seafood sauce that you can whip up quickly if either you have visitors, or prawns are cheap on special...also works on Balmain Bugs, a particularly tasty crustacean.

The "sauce" is somewhat simple, being
1 part Masterfoods "spicy red sauce"
1 part whole egg mayo.

The "sauce" is pretty good on it's own, but if you want a "CATERHAM blend" sauce with added zinc, add a dash of tabasco (the tabasco represents zinc, as the spicy red already has zinc chiili in it.

You can also add moly by using some seeded mustard.

Please note...blending two condiments does NOT make the end result a "CATERHAM blend".

CATERHAM has made a specific style of blend, using two specific products, to achieve specific outcomes...just chucking two random lubes together isn't making such...

I had to look that one up; they appear to be part of a the lobster family? How much meat is inside them? (sauce notwithstanding

I found a video that gives an idea of how large they are:

Shannow - what do they cost or do you have to catch them on your own?

Being particularly fond of seafood, crustaceans in particular, it's entirely possible that I might approve this condiment blend.

Of course that would mean actually trying a Balmain Bug with the requisite condiment blend.
Now that we will soon be heading into winter in the Great White North I suspect it wouldn't take much to be enticed almost half way 'round the world to give the CATERHAM seal of approval if it was required.

Starter size at a restaurant, you are looking at about $25 per bug on a plate, which is about the only time I see them living 100 miles inland.

Down in the big smoke, $43/Kg

About double the price of prawns (shrimp), and half that of lobster.

Place is on fire at the moment, so if you like it BBQd and well done, it might work.

Sweet! We have few offices in Australia, but I have not found an excuse good enough to take a trip on the company
