Castrol Transmax E

Hi Guys.
Can i use Castrol Transmax E in my 2010 Hyundai Elantra automatic Transmission?
OEM call for SP3 fluid.Castrol Transmax E has SP3 specification as per the product data sheet.

Usually, if the label mentions YOUR specific brand ATF, then it's sutable for use in your vehicles transmission.

But, the labeling can be a funny thing! For example:
I called Valvoline 3x's about a couple of their ATF's...MaxLife and Mercon V(ML/MV)
One rep told me one thing and anther told me something else and a 3rd said the same thing the 1st one said.

Both ML & MV stated that they were both sutable for my transmission(NISSAN/MaticD). One rep, the 1st told me that ML & MV were both good for a complete flush or drain/refill. The 2nd rep said that MV was only for topoff. Another, the 3rd rep said that both were OK and you get the rest of the story!

If your not in a hurry, wait for somemore feedback from members here at BITOG before using the fluid in your transmission so that you can feel comfortable and sleep well at night.

I just bought 4 qts of Castrol High Mileage Automatic Transmission Fluid and posted a question here the other day.

No one has responded yet! I think that the High Mileage ATF that I purchaced and the Transmx E that your considering are just two ATF's that our friends here at Bob's are unfamilier with. I don't think that the Transmax E is available here in the U.S.
It seem as though that, I have only heard the name, "Transmax" but, never have seen the product on our store shelves

If you haven't puchaced the Transmax E yet, maybe you should consider another ATF that is sutable for your Hyundai. Or, try it and report back to us on the results. The Transmax E label does say that it is sutable for your Hyundai transmission!

It's a tough call isn't it?

Where on earth did you find Transmax E? I haven't EVER seen it. It is recommended for my Camry (T-IV) also by the castrol website.

Trnsmax E much much better than OEM Sp3 ATF.

You found the Transmax E at the dealer? Ammazing!
The dealer is selling an over the counter/aftermarket ATF that's actually better than the OE ATF? NICE!

Auto drain/refill took only 2.3L of ATf.

second drain/refill took 3.3L.
