Castrol Syntec base oil?

I've heard on this board that the base oil in Castrols Syntec synthetic oil is Shell Helix.Is this true?Thanks Joe

The Shell slack wax is considered to be Group III+ a cut above your garden variety Group III oil.

the 0W30 castrol syntec from germany ("german castrol, IE: GC") is the only one known to contain primarily group IV and higher base stocks. both the old green and new gold appear to be mostly "true" synthetic base stocks. But from what I understand, all the syntecs are pretty decent oils.
