Isn't silicon used as an anti-foam? Or is this amount past an additive level?

Is the Magnatec Synthetic or Conventional Oil?

Just put in Castrol 10W-40 Magnatec in my Land Rover Discovery, I am guessing its the German blend.

It's a semi synthetic (blend). Not sure on the American formulation though.

Interesting that the additive levels are so much higher in the UAE version. Did you say that leaded gasoline is still used over there?

Leaded fuel was phased out over a decade ago, but the gas still contains high levels of sulfur. The UAE has the lowest sulfur content in the region at 70 ppm:

Bahrain: 1,600 ppm
Kuwait: 500 ppm
Oman: 1,000 ppm
Qatar: 300 ppm (91 RON)/70 ppm (98 RON)
Saudi: 1,000 ppm
