For reference, here is my previous UOA post:
https://bobistheoilguy.com/forums/ubbthreads.php/topics/4018614/Castrol_GTX_Synblend_5w20_6k_m

This sample included a mix of 5w30 and 5w20 Castrol GTX synblend with a very little bit of left over M1 0w40. So as expected it was effectively a 5w30 fill. As several members forecasted, wear numbers actually went down as miles (8k) and overall time (8.5 months) went up vs previous OCI. So pretty clear that for this engine GTX synblend in 5w30 is a pretty good way to go in terms of wear. Given that in 5w20 flavor, PEAK conventional and Castrol GTX synblend performed about the same, I'm sure other quality conventional or synblend oils would do have done great too!

Additional note... Fuel economy went down a bit with this oil. Maybe 1 mpg? Maybe 1/2 mpg. Not too bad.
