Castrol Edge EP or Mobil 1 Extended Performance

I vote m1, because around here it goes on sale for half price way more often than the others. Currently Mobil 1 Extended Performance High Mileage 5w30 in my 2005 work truck.

Seriously, I bought Mobil 1 Extended Performance because with $24 Rebate on 2 x 5 qt jugs it was cheaper.

What does the mfg recommend? 5W-20 maybe? Either brand but M1 has a rebate. Process is fast and easy.
