Going to change out my transmission fluids on my old pickup and the blazer. Is this Castrol Dex-VI good stuff to use? Its a semi-synthetic.
I just got a case (12) of it, along with 4 big bottles(32 oz) of MMO for $36.84 before tax at Advance Auto. The Castrol is on sale for $3.99, and the MMO for $3.49. Used the BIG25 promo. code to knock 25 bucks off. Ended up being $2.28/qt., and $2.08/bottle of MMO. Pretty good deal.
If you want some of the Dex-VI, you have to do a search for part # 06822. It doesnt show up when looking at all the transmission fluids. Hope this helps somebody out.

Clever!

I wonder if you searched for ATF for a MY 2010 vehicle you'd find DexVI. AA's mediocre website fights pretty hard to keep you from getting stuff not for "your" car.

Since I run an oversize purolator filter, I have to lie to it and say I drive a ford taurus; can't seem to type in 20195 if it has my car in my browser "cookie".

Yes, AA is a pain to get what you want, when you KNOW what you want! Anybody know a way around it? I tried typing in that # for the oil filter, and it kept wanting a vehicle. I ordered some oil filters for my tracotr a while back, and it was a circus getting them to come up.

Its all about liability. AAP does it on purpose. But, you can google the two together: advance auto parts.... and it will find the link to the product. When you find the product, it will say "does not fit your vehicle Jack..." Just add to cart!

AAP's website use to be the best of the auto parts stores but about 2 or 3 years ago they changed it and its by the far the worst of the bunch now. My browser always freezes up when going there and the site loses track of specific type of part I'm looking at while navigating. I absolutely hate using it now.
