Question...could you stack this rebate with the O'Reilly rebate? They are basically the same thing so wondering if it would be caught

O'Reilly has Castrol EDGE 5W-30 priced @ $34.95 a jug, so $69.90 for 2 - $30 Castrol MIR = $39.90 - $30 O'Reilly GC = $19.90 pre-tax cost, and you're stuck with O'Reilly "cash".
2 jugs from Walmart @ $23.97 = $47.94 - $30 = $17.94 before tax.
My math is a bit different for the O’Reilly deal. Two jugs at $34.95 minus the $30 Castrol rebate plus $30 O’Reilly gift comes out to $9.90. That’s a deal, especially if you get the 0w30 A3/B4 that can’t be bought at WalMart.

Can you submit 2, 5 jugs on one receipt for O’Reilly’s? I thought it was unlimited but only 1 per receipt.
Per my Walmart store manager, the $23.97 price on the 5w-30 is delivery/pickup only, and cannot be honored or pricematched in-store.
Apparently their delivery/pickup service is run by a third party and allowed to do special pricing promotions. Same product, same store, but different price depending on if you check out in front or pickup in back. Blows my mind. Less expensive if a paid worker goes to the shelf and gets the product and takes it to the back door.
I'd be more inclined to pay the $36 per oil change bundle at AAP, get the free premium Carquest EP filter, $15 AAP gift card, and potentially also the $15 Castrol rebate. Is that how the AAP bundle deal works?

They priced matched the online price at my Walmart. Now I am waiting to see if Castrol will honor more than 1 rebate.
Which Edge should you go with is there any info on base oils etc for these varieties?
Edge eurocar? Edge extended? Edge? Edge HM?
looks like the eurocar is currently 2-4$ cheaper than the extended.

go to a different walmart. They are supposed to but wal-mart reserves the right not to.

Well, the CS associate was the one who went to the store/shift manager for approval and she turned me down. They refused to match their delivery/pickup competitor.
So then I asked home depot if they would price match, and they declined.
So then I asked AAP to price match. He tried but the computer wouldn't let him go any lower than $38 or whatever nonsense.
So then I just bought 2x oil change bundles from AAP for $36 each, which includes a filter and a $15 AAP gift card. So after rebate and gift card it'll be $21 for a $15 gift card, a jug of oil and filter. Not as slick as a $9 jug of oil but I'm okay with the deal. Walmart missed their chance.
Same happened to me.
The CS refused to match the price on their website.
She asked me to place an online order and wait 1-2 hours to pick it up.
It also works for most single quarts of Castrol Edge. Seems to work for everything but 10w-60. 5w-50 for $3.99 a quart plus the o’reilly cash is a great deal.

This is the big reason why I haven't done anything yet either, I hate PayPal and I don't trust venmo. Also I don't really need any extra oil right now in my stash. I'll wait till spring and see what Pennzoil and Mobil 1 offer for rebates and other promotions.
Last couple of Castrol rebates for me never showed on their tracker system. Did get them both though.
Maybe someone can help. I received a MasterCard Virtual Credit card from Pennzoil . I logged in, did the appropriate things, then tried to load it to my “wallet” on my rather old but trusty IPhone 7. It wouldn’t load so I forgot about it. Ninety days later it expired and they wouldn’t reinstate it. What would have been easier to use the card? I guess I should have tried it with Rock Auto. Any other actual examples of what worked?
I usually just add the virtual cards to my Amazon account as a payment method and then convert the amount to a Amazon gift card to spend at my leisure and then delete the virtual card.
Found this to be the easiest way for me to use the full amount of the virtual card rather than try to use it in public that will either usually not be enough for a full purchase or leaves oddball small amounts remaining that I cannot use readily.
