Since this runs through December 20th, better to wait and see if Walmart rolls back their Castrol offerings at some point.

Any suggestions for getting a good deal on the Edge Extended Performance 0w20 with this rebate? Every place I checked is significantly more than Walmart, seems like Walmart doesn’t often have this on store shelves, and it apparently can’t be ordered Thanks!

Unless you have a very specific requirement, why do you need extended performance? The 24 dollar Castrol Edge is already rated for 20,000 miles even though most everyone will change it well before then.

Check around your different Walmarts using the website (if you have multiple stores). Seemingly, there is no rhyme or reason for the inventory. Some Supercenters have Castrol EDGE Extended Performance, other Supercenters don't. Some non-Super Walmarts have it, others don't.

As of yesterday, none anywhere near me seem to have it I’m wondering if any other retailers have a decent price on it…

I was planning on Mobil 1 ESP X2 0w20, I want a Euro spec oil even thought it isn’t required or anything. The Edge EP probably has better specs for my car, being SQ and ILSAC-GF7. It would be awesome to get a BOGO deal…

My local Walmart has it on the shelf. On the Walmart app you can look up any product and click on pickup and if it is unavailable at your selected store there is an option to search for it at other nearby stores.

It was impossible to find for awhile, but some Walmarts by me do have it.

EDGE EP 0w-20 is also a Euro oil technically. It has the MB 229.71 spec, along with a few others.

Don't know. There's a month to wait it out. Still, $12.50 a jug for commuter car oil is still within my purchasing threshold.

You have to pay in the store, when you have pickup in the store you pay online for it.

I went to customer service desk. They gave it to me for the $23.97 online price. In store transaction. Also filled out rebate on phone so I could take picture of receipt and upload as requested.

Centereach, NY Walmart. This will work just fine for the 4k severe service interval in my father-in-laws Renegade including newspaper reading idling time. Might be a bit, still have at least one more Delo XSP 5W-40 in front of it and 2k before that happens.

Just looked, and the EP flavor has gotten a few bucks more expensive recently. Used to be $26 something. Now it’s almost $30.

Took mine today to the Walmart Services desk and they did the online 24.98 price matching.

Sadly my Walmart did not have any 5w-30 Edge, so I bought 5w-30 Castrol EDGE Extended Performance for $30x2. It is API SQ. I dont feel like going to Walmart again to look for it, really dont like going to Walmart.
