It must match exactly. If you only used five digits for your ZIP when submitting the rebate form, you can only give it five in the query. I gave the query my plus four and it didn’t find it.

So somebody has submitted more than one receipt for a second (or more) batch of 2 jugs? I bought 2 more today, before the time cutoff, I can always return if more than 1 is no-go. I didn’t see anything in the rules that prohibits more than one submission, just that each submission has to be a separate receipt

Initial email one month ago said 4-6 weeks. One month later when rebate shows up, it says please wait 6-8 weeks. Hopefully it will not take another 6-8 weeks, its already been one month.

If you read through the thread, you'll see this was a bug present since the last rebate period.

I submitted two separate receipts, 10 quarts each. The system allowed it, but not sure yet if they’ll honor both.

BP has been looking for a buyer for Castrol since February of this year. Reports within the last few days looks like they are pretty close to selling a majority stake. I suspect they are looking for an infusion of liquidity to make the sale more attractive.

So then I just bought 2x oil change bundles from AAP for $36 each, which includes a filter and a $15 AAP gift card. So after rebate and gift card it'll be $21 for a $15 gift card, a jug of oil and filter. Not as slick as a $9 jug of oil but I'm okay with the deal. Walmart missed their chance.

$30 just in from Castrol. Now just waiting on $30 AAP bucks to complete the deal.
