I too would like to see evidence of the "reduced addpack" statement. As far as I can tell it is simple supposition. Ashland puts alot of money into testing their procuts and part of their way to recover such funds on the retail level is through brand recognition. Why would they reformulate and recertify a house brand label they produce when t heir supply line and ceritifications are the same. Technicaly to cut the additives they would have to run another set of certifications which is probalby mlore expensive than using already approved formulations that Ashland has on file.
To be honest I bet house brands are a very good value.
