Picked up 10 84356’s here yesterday as well. Sale + 15% off. All PG filters. 5 had nitrile gaskets, 5 silicone. Same PG design. Great deal. Have a few Champ XL’s left from before they went to all nitrile. I’m good on filters now for a couple years for my 3 Honda’s.
I have 5 champ xl with all nitrile…I’m debating on just tossing them
That's why I bought these CQPs as well...I'm keeping my 3 remaining XLs for my motorcycle only and the new CQPs will be used on the Acura (both use the same filter). I was also disappointed back when I ordered the Champs that they were all nitrile ADBVs.
I would contact them first and ask the obvious.. if the XL's come with silicone adbv and after they reply yes.. then just reply with the photos of your XL's. I would think they would replace for you. Consider using Champ XL with nitrile oil filters for short cleaning OCI’s ?
I am still pissed at Carquest for trying to dump at sale prices DEF that was expired.
I don't run over 5000 mile OCI's on any of my Honda's. 16 year old will be taking over my 2012 civic 5-speed and I'll use up those Champs on that. I'd just run them vs throwing away money.

Are they made in China or Vietnam? No worries either way, as both seem to be good quality.

Can I mix match 4 filter ?
I took the opportunity to purchase one for the Ridgeline and upon inspection, am impressed with its initial quality and resemblance of the Honda filter.
Yes they are the same although Napa says the Gold is 99% efficient at 30 microns.
Also, PG source their filters mostly from one supplier in Vietnam, a sister company of that company in China, and another company in China.
So you may get a filter that is not exactly the same depending on the application as well as timeframe.
