out/off: 1.5 quarts HPL EC30 and 6.5 quarts Valvoline R&P 5w-30 with carquest premium 85372

in/on: 8 quarts HPL PCEO 5w-30 with OG wire backed Fram Titanium FS2.

looks great, and like that it’s a Vietnam model. most of the larger bodied CQ premiums are the china variant. i was going to have to run to walmart to get an FE2 but i happened to find an OG Titanium FS2 in the back at my local AAP.

As expected, looks good. As for coo, based on anecdotes I've seen posted, when it comes to quality either of the two seem to be comparable. And to me, off shored either way. Fwiw, the popular size CQ 87356 (7317/14610) made in China, one of the smaller/est applications.

i prefer the Vietnam made filters. they are just a bit nicer.

Thank you. Looks good by eye for sure. The cost for my wife's Subaru is 9 bucks so I may just stick with the new Tokyo Roki service part that seems to be working well.
