For those who have Facebook, a pretty funny video by Rocco the Comic car shopping with his Dad from "the old country".

Lots of great one liners that are often discussed on BITOG to include self driving cars, electric vs gas, and cash discount:

The first car I bought for my teenaged daughter was, I recall, a 1975 Datsun B210, puke orange in color, that I got in 1983. I still hear about that to this day, 41 years later. It was a little rougher than the one pictured.

"Uncle Floyd " was one of the earliest shows on 'cable tv'.
It was a regional (NJ) local show exhibiting originality, spontaneity...as well as tedium and drollness.
They did a bit called, "Vinnie and Lou", which the posted video reminded me of...a lot.
Brought me back to the '70's.

I remember when I was about 17 y/o, I had gone with a girlfriend to look at a '69 Valiant(pea soup green) w/Slant 6
Her POS dad scolded me for not getting her a better deal on the car.
Then I asked her father, "where were you for your daughter you unless *&#*(%#@!"

Then I punched him in the face! o_O

My father came with me to a dealer to test drive a 79 ford fairmont at a very good price with a 4spd.standard shift. I had no idea how to drive it. I bought it and spent that afternoon teaching myself on the road how to shift and drive it. I became very good at it by day's end.

I acquired my grandpa's black 58 Oldsmobile Eighty Eight. That thing had a lot of power and I burned the right rear tire on it frequently. It had a 371 cu in engine with a 4 barrell carb and a 4 speed automatic. It wasn't a muscle car by any means but it would really get up and go.
