Car Quest Oil Filter?

I'm new to this forum and have a question. Today I went to my car parts store and bought Mobil One oil for my car. They had a special and gave me a free Car Quest brand oil filter. Is this any good or just junk. The box says it has a silicon anti-drain valve, and cellulose/synthetic filter media. Anyone have any experience with these. In the past I've mostly used the Mobil One oil filter. Thanks for any help.

I have no personal experience with them, but from what I have read on here, they are nice quality. I wouldn't fret over it at all, especially since it's free.

My AAP/CarQuest stores are offering both the CarQuest BLUE & FRAM Titanium filter with their Mobil 1 package. Or in the Mobil 1 EP, they're offering the CarQuest BLUE or the Mobil 1 filter

A blend of filter media and a silicone ADBV usually indicate a high quality filter. It should be fine up to 10K OCI.

I have one (blue) on my Fusion now, first time using one too. So far so good.

Acceptable quality not the worst and not the best. Your car will survive.
