Has anyone compared the new car quest ep air filter to anything else yet? I don't know much about different brands of air filters just normally stick to wix or oem. Just curious if they carry the same quality as their oil filters and if they're made my premium guard.

I installed a Carquest EP AF on a 3.5L Honda, replacing the OE. Seemed to be a high quality AF with seal the same and fit perfectly in the air box. Also the depth of media pleating top to bottom same as the OEM. Something I've found with aftermarket AF for Honda, not always the case. Couldn't tell you if made by PG, but whoever makes them, satisfactory to me. Thought I might have posted a pic when I did it, but can't find it if I did. As always, best practice if possible is to inspect the filter before purchase.

Tried the EP last week in my ‘23 F150 with the 5.0.
The Carquest EP fit pretty loose in the air box. Took it back to Advanced Auto and installed the Motorcraft (which fit perfectly).
Don’t know if that particular EP filter was a one-off, dimensionally out of spec filter or not.
I will continue to use Carquest oil filters and stick with OEM on the air.
