Car Duster Users

How often do you guys use your car dusters? and How often do you wash or replace them? I dust both of our cars 4-5 times a week total. I don't use the duster when the car has a thick coat of dust.. And I replace my california duster every year, it only cost about $10 from walmart which I think is better than washing them....

I used mine way more when I had a new, black car.. haha... I don't use it very much on my silver car (doesn't show as much) but I've had the same one since 2003/4.

I use mine for several days after washing the car, then it's(the car) usually too dirty to use it. I used it for probably 10 years before washing it. Then it took several uses to get the dust built back up to make it more efficient like it was before washing.

In the summertime I use the duster on my Corvette every single day. It's black so dust shows so easily on it! I bought this California Car Duster at the same time that I bought the Vette (in 2004) and have not washed it yet.

I have a black car (68 Torino) and use the duster quite often. They seem to last longer if one stores them in a plastic garbage bag with a rubber band around the handle. John--Las Vegas.

My father has used the same duster on his 94 previa since new and over 220k miles.

He used it even if there was heavy dust or road dirt - didnt scrub with it, just went over it.

Fine swirls were made, but none worse than the buffer equipment that a detail shop put on the dark metallic green.

I use them but only for the top light dust on a known otherwise clean car. I don't want to chance it...
