Car Capsule

Two things come to mind:

The water at the bottom of my air compressor tank after lots of outside air has been pushed through it...

The dust inside my computer after... all that outside air's gone through.

Nice concept, but I don't think it would last very long outdoors. Between wind, storms, heat, cold, and kids? If it's for indoor use, why would you really need it?

Well those stupid walmart snow globe inflatable things last a few months outside... the technology is probably sound.

One could probably build one of these car capsules for much less than their patented supplies must cost.

It's hard to believe it would stay inflated all winter. Wouldn't it be better to suck the air out like those space saver closet bags? Maybe not, as the cover might abrade the paint? But that would reduce the temptation to pop someone's balloon.

I'd use this in a garage / storage unit in a heartbeat...my truck gets dusty even after a weekend in the garage.
Outside use...never happen. Even the best plastics fall victim to UV damage and all you'll have is a mess when it becomes brittle and deflates.

I don't think that one needs such a capsule for a car not used during the winter. What's going to happen to a parked and uncovered car that won't happen to the same car if its used all winter? In other words, what do you gain by sheltering it? The only think I can think of that it'd be good to protect it from is the sun, but then, today's car paints being what they are, I even doubt that. For sun protection I'd just buy one of the large blue plastic tarps that you can get at any hardware store and cover the whole car with it and fasten it real well. That would keep the sun and snow/rain off the car.
