I am making the dead horse into mush here, but I concur that I see a lot of used Dodge trucks for sale, especially when I was driving around in Ohio. As a matter of fact, I commented on this to a friend before going to a private military museum there and as we are parking in their lot guess what they have for sale out front? Two of them. (They run a construction business as their main business) I would have bought a Toyota myself recently but I had a very hard time finding one for a good price.

You can't go wrong IMO with a Ford Truck. My family has all had them and I do think they make a great truck. I think 40% of all Fords sold are trucks.
BTW, the RAM got a 4 out of 5 in mechanical quality on Edmunds. Amkeer are you suggesting that the quality is bad?

Its not gonna be the quality and build you are currently accustomed to. The stupid stuff breaks or wears out quick with Dodges/Chrysler.

BTW I ended up with a Ford, I was between the GMC/Chevy and the Ford, it would seem they're about the same reliability wise, maybe slight edge to Ford. I do like the fact that the GMC/Chevy has a lot of grease fittings on the front end. Unfortunately the Ford only has 2, so we'll see how that turns out. The GMC also has a drain on the auto transmission pan, but the Ford doesn't. Unfortunately on my cousin's it was impossible to remove even with the largest bar we had. I haven't seen an inordinate amount of Ford/GMC/Chevys for sale, although of course there are a lot more out there than Toyotas.
