I'm concerned about the high 92-94 octane use.
Stilh has a 92 octane but the manual says 89.Higher octane use ok?
The canned fuel may be overkill and expensive but so convenient. Also no ethanol that killed the carb in my 7 HP Toro snow commander 2 cycle.

Octane rating is for the most part an anti-knock rating. Running 92 octane in an engine that calls for 89 octane doesn't hurt or help (except for maybe some extra detergents in premium). But running 89 octane in something that calls for 92 would probably make the engine ping under load.

Perfectly Ok. The manual to my stihl trimmer says to use "at least" 89 octane. I dont think they would make their own premixed fuel, Motomix, 92 octane if it wasnt ok. Husqvarna premixed fuel is even 95 octane.

Unless your manual says (DoNOTusePremium) or 89 (only) your okay.

Ive seen some premium fuels have higher detergents and actually eat small plastic parts in small engines. and normally the manual will state (do not use Premium) if its an issue.
