can you send packages directly to a facility?

Most of the time my dad gets mad if I have packages sent to his house. Most of the time I can change the delivery and have them hold it at a local fedex/ups facility. Sometimes the package will be there a lot sooner than I expected it to and once it's out on the truck I'm sol as far as changing the shipment. I bought something off ebay and it sent through usps and it looks like that's supposed to arrive on Monday when it should have on Wednesday and I don't see a hold at usps location for the post office.

You can always rent a PO Box at your local post office, UPS Store, etc.
