Can I Run Euro Oil for 2 Years with Very Low Mileage?

I've done this a couple times in the 4Runner with the 4.7. M1 0w40 no issues. Once, Blackstone said I could run in even longer, but I figured 2 years was a good change point.

I have the same question for my collector cars. I've been changing them yearly, which is fine, but it feels a waste. My 1995 ZR-1 is due for a yearly change but has about 2300 miles on it. I decided to sample and send to SPEEDiagnostix and see what they say. I figure 99% odds it is fine to go another year, but no reason not to use science to be sure.

I fully believe that 2 year changes in most cases would be OK. If I was going to change oil every two years I would do a UOA at the end of year 1 and see the condition it's in so I could be sure it's safe for the engine.

My 01 Ford 150 with the 4.6 has at least 2 years and almost 3k miles. Kirkland 5-30 with a qt of HPL EC. Should I change it?

If it was me, I would let it ride and go fishing instead. ;)

More seriously, if it gets driven mostly for short trips, I would think about changing it. If not, I wouldn't be too concerned about doing it right away.

When I had my 2005 Corvette I did 2 year oil changes with it and had UOAs each time as well and they confirmed that it was safe. I had the car for 4 1/2 years, the first OCI was 8,300 miles and the second one was 10,100 miles. I used vanilla M1 5w-30. So I feel like if vanilla M1 was able to handle that then a Euro oil with its better approvals should be fine in many cases as well (but do a UOA to confirm)

It gets driven locally but usually gets up to temperature. 8-20 miles.
