Can-Am Ryker Rotax 900 ACE

29k miles on my wife's '15 1330 F3S now. Only issue was the final drive front belt pulley that has been addressed by a recall.
Ryker is a bare bones ride compared to the F3 chassis. All my Rotax motors have been solid.

24K on my '22 RT.....no issues. A friend has 68K on his '15 RT....no issues beyond normal wear. Both have same 1330cc Rotax motor; neither use a drop of oil between changes. Just like new cars....some have defects or probs and others don't but it shouldn't stop you from getting one if you want. BTW, I've found the Canadian company BRP quite responsive to customers. Don't condemn a company or product based on some ones hear say...............
I have not heard of faulty Ryker problems, but cars made in America have had their share of problems, but we keep making cars..
Do people have to get the OEM belt, or did anyone find a cheaper replacement? Also, weren't the wheel nuts tending to crack? I recall reading that 4 years ago.
No worse than motorcycle tires,,,if u get 6000 miles out of a motorcycle tire, u did well........................
Belt is a wear item in any belt driven CVT. Lucky to get 5k miles on a snowmobile belt, depending on HP level of the machine.
JD tracked diesel Gators pulling a 1k lb. drag grooming winter trails we get about 3k miles on a belt. I consider that to be not too bad with the usage they get.
Operator driving characteristic's affect belt life tremendously also in any application.
CVT belts are not cheap averaging $150 a pop, depending on rating and quality. But they are easier to change than a bike tire.
