Car should read the tire pressure in the dash, on one of the screen options it has. Stupid that it was omitted from the base model—I should not have to buy an aftermarket radio! Anyhow, is what it is, I guess if there is ever a question she can use her phone while driving to figure out why the TPMS light is on…
Agreed. Along with ATF temp and other parameters.

Makes me glad I got a higher trim level

But you have the new TNGA model, with hopefully a more current body electrical system that can do a stationary/automatic TPMS relearn. 🤓

The funny part was that Toyota decided to do individual TPMS pressure read outs on the 2007-2019 Lexus LS/LX, as well as the 2006-on GS and maybe the ES, as long as there was a color LCD in the instrument cluster.

We didn’t want the higher trim level-lower mpg, probably due to the fancy wheels it has.
Somehow 235 width wheels and tires kill the mileage.

Even in 2020, the specs show higher trims got the nickel-metal hybrid battery with the lower mpg (44 mpg city/47 highway/46 combined)

and 2021 the high spec trims also got upgraded to the lithium ion batteries with the same lower mpg, (44 mpg city/47 highway/46 combined)

Supton's 2021 is TNGA also.
