Calling my Canadian friends advice

My fiancé has a 98 Civic and the dealer recently told her she needs a complete brake job, I.E. new rotors and pads plus the rear drums and shoes. Problem is she is located in Mississauga and I'm in Scottsdale, AZ otherwise I would do this myself. I need a good referral for a private shop in Mississauga or Toronto I can feel safe my honey will be taken care of and not "taken care of" LOL.

I could direct her to a great shop in Chatham! Only 3 1/2 hours from T.O.. I hope she finds a shop that won't take advantage. My daughter is going to school in Fort Lauderdale, she was scammed for a complete exhaust when all she needed was a new muffler! It happens to be a '98 Civic as well.

PM Patman or even Caterham, he isn't far from there. I'm not too far away but I don't use a shop unless I have to.

My son is in a Canadian Tire shop here in Kitchener and they have a good mechanic on staff. If she wanted to come in here, he could probably help make sure she only gets what she needs.

RT Motorsport right off the 407 at Keele. This is in Vaughan/Concord which is not far at all from Mississauga.

He specializes in Honda's but he's not limited to Honda.

She can Google Master Mechanic Mississauga they are a small chain that i hear is quite reliable and adept at what they do.

PS She would be wise to not mention the Dealers visit and have them inspect her Brakes.

Is she willing to drive to Georgetown? That's north of Mississauga. If so, I have the perfect guy for you; he's the very best there is in these parts. He's especially good with women. I'm not sure who to recommend in Mississauga anymore, the guy that I have used in the past to do work on my Corvette (including brakes) has sold his shop and is no longer a mechanic (he decided to open a landscaping business)

So if you find somebody good in the area, let me know! The last time I needed work on my Civic (wheel bearings) I ended up going to Canadian Tire and they charge a fortune
