C-TEK rotors and pads

I put some on all four corners of a 10 year old BMW a few years ago, and zero complaints of noise or vibrations due to warped rotors.

I just bought some again for another car that needs rear brakes. Anyone have any luck with these?

I’ve used them on a mazda3 and they were okay for the money. I got them as a whole kit on close out, F&R, pads & rotors for ~$100 shipped.

There is nothing wrong with them, just basic rotors and pads. If you have to deal with rust, then coated rotors are a must.

I used the C-Tek rotors a long time ago, nothing particularly wrong with them, but better options like coated rotors are available.

However, Centric is part of First Brands, and they just went bankrupt.

I have always tried to get "good" or "better" rotors but "best" pads.

I get coated rotors. Obviously not ever benefits from coated rotors.

Looks like I got the last of em since they stopped production. Hopefully the quality didn’t go down since they were bought by the private equity douches who are now probably headed to a federal (PMITA) prison.
