Is it cheaper to buy oil by the case. I would rather buy a case and save a few dollars. I see NAPA has Quaker State conventional on sale for 2.19 a quart, will they sell a case cheaper? Not sure just wonder, I have a honda and needs 5w20. I was going to buy the 5 quart jug at walmart tonight, but I don't like the jugs. Any thoughts?

Sometimes it's cheaper to buy cases, particularly from online distributors. It certainly can't hurt to ask the local vendor if they offer case discounts.
The 5 quart jugs at Wal-Mart are a fantastic deal, however, and you're unlikely to get any regularly-priced oil for that price from any other vendor, either with individual quarts or cases.

I have 2 hondas, new pilot and older accord..I buy my oil by the case and a buck per is way high..I start shopping when I get down to two cases in stock..watch for rebates, do 7,500 oci's and 15k filter...my pilot looks to be going even further based on the meter
