I dont judge overall lubricant quality with a used oil analysis. If you do your fooling yourself.
I judge oils by OTR performance and fuel milage. Been drivin for over 40 years, should know a good oil by now.
So, "I've been driving for over 40 years" is more objective and scientific than a used oil analysis -- any used oil analysis????? I'm sorry, but you're the one fooling yourself. used oil analysis is not the "be all and end all", but at least it gives you some objective measurements of what's happening.
