Buick Wildcat EV

A little different than the 1965 2-door Buick Wildcat hardtop I had. It was canary yellow with a black leather interior and a 365 c.i. motor with an automatic trans.

My Auto Mechanics teacher in HS had a 65 Wildcat with the 425 eng. it was a beast.

That would be a 401 or 425 nailhead engine. I owned a 65 Riviera GS (2 x 4 bbl). Never fully restored it.

GM wisely held on the Electra name. Who knew it would be used for something far different?

I’m guessing that concept is dead(?). I’d assume the first Buick EV can’t be too far out. GM Authority thinks at least one Buick EV crossover (blah, make something cool, like this) will be built on the upcoming “BEV-Prime” chassis, designed primarily for the Corvette EV Crossover.
