What a magnificent machine.
Meh, meh, meh meh MEH. Meh-chine, designed for wall-posters, not the track. Boring. Re-heated, Veyron. I would rather have a used Miata (you know, something that is useful). Old news, old design.

Cars like this are an excellent way to allow engineers to play and push technology further. The benefits trickle down to the lower level cars. Old adage: Racing Improves the Breed.
Can you imagine a car company where none of their engineers have any chance to work on something weird, extreme, impractical, impossible?

This car is not for the crucible of motorsport. Thus the breed is not improved. Rather, this is that breed of dog that is expensive but so genetically mutated that is has no function other than to make the owners of said expensive mutated dog look like they can own an expensive mutated dog. Hunting improves the breed... not show.
Think if they spent/developed all those resources into the VW diesel tech... oh, right.

For THAT amount of coin, I would want it to LOOK as great as it actually costs.

In the eye of the beholder. I think it looks great, even a little better than Veyron..
Hennessey Twin Turbo Viper still faster though. I would imagine its all that turbo parasitic draw on the engine. (If I had to guess.)

Ha! The reason they make fast cars is to escape creditors and PO-ed duped buyers.

There is a lot of trickle down from the Bugatti. A lot of the engine tricks have gone into Bentley, for example.
