I have two. They are deadly on flies. I think my marksmanship has improved quite a bit. If you use them on roaches be prepared to fire multiple times.

They do need adjustable sights.

I just use a spray bottle with water. Set the right mister setting and spray away.

Can also lean over someone's shoulder and salt their fries....ask me how I know. Oh, don't do it

Coarse salt performs much better.

They are marginally effective, but a whole lot of fun on a summer night on the deck.

Flys seem to disappear when one is out.. shoulda got the camo colored one.

THey used to have a larger garden gun version that shot twice the salt load. It was really good. But for some reason it was discontinued.

I now have the shredder. It is a beast! Kills everything and there usually isn´t much more than a stain left behind. Of course, it is CO2 powered.

The kids got me one for Father's day about 10 years ago and it broke after shooting it 2-3 times and we returned it. Maybe they are made better now?

It's all in ammo selection. Dense salt, grains not too small, not too large.

It does not work best with just average table salt

Funny you should ask, they do have an optional laser sight that can be attached.
It is a shotgun with a range of 3 feet so I don't see a laser sight helping.
