Which one do you guys suggest for brake pads sliding pins?

I have these ones laying around:

1-http://www.autozone.com/greases-and-gear-oil/lubricant-grease/coastal-all-purpose-grease/561696_0_0

2-https://www.walmart.com/ip/Super-Tech-Moly-Grease-14-oz/16928003

3-https://www.walmart.com/ip/Super-Tech-Lithium-Grease-14-oz/16928006

4-http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/p/permatex-dielectric-tune-up-grease-3-oz-22058/12027861-P?searchTerm=dielectric+grease

If none of the above, can I use/buy any of these?

1-https://www.walmart.com/ip/Super-Tech-Marine-Grease-14-oz/16928008

2-https://www.walmart.com/ip/Majestic-HD1-14oz-Tube-Hi-Red-Temp-Grease/51005332

Or any other cheaper suggestions?

Thank you.

None.

Napa Sil Glyde or Ford Motorcraft XG-3-A. None of that you mentioned belong in your brake caliper boots.

Silglide or it's equivalent. I've used generic disc brake grease before but it dries up faster than the silicone stuff. In fact, I just did the brakes and OEM AC Delco pads now come with the clear silicone stuff as opposed to the black grease.

Thanks, where can I get it cheaper? Napa only or Ford ?

Try eBay, Amazon, etc.

Yeah, I am going to get it from Napa, seems to be cheap. Unless, you know better place( more quantity and cheaper price) like ebay, amazon or aap or anything?

That's what I use. I've used the mission automotive brand as well.

same here, comes in a decent sized tube and will last for quite a few brake jobs.

+1. 3m makes one too. Use the right stuff.

DO NOT AND REPEAT DO NOT use anything but a silicone grease on your caliper guide pins. I let a parts guy talk me into using CRC super white lithium grease on my rear guide pins, the tube even said for high and low temps and all brake parts.

Long story short, rear brakes went to [censored] quickly. Ended up needing new pads, rotors and calipers.

+1 -- I also use it for a lot of other tasks since it seems to always be near my tools. Mainly if I want a dab of grease on my finger to put somewhere.

maverickfhs,

Of all the Greases you originally mentioned, I also would not use any (as others have said).
Reason:
1) They may not be HEAT RESISTANT
2) They may SWELL the Rubber Boot that goes over the Slide Pin

I've used Sil-Glyde with good results.
Reason:
1) Harmless to Rubber
2) Effective up to 600 Degrees F.

Always use the right product for any automotive job.
It's what you would expect from a Mechanic.
