He prefaced this by saying he didn't WANT to insult any of the listeners. Unfortunately, the truth is the truth and it's right in front of everyone's face what is going on. It has been for well over 20 years. The problem is football and Oprah get in the way of a clear view.

Companies do what companies do, big or small. The big ones end up having a lot more impact by virtue of their size, clout, and dependencies; thus, their interests play into decisions made by world governments. Of course, anyone who doesn't see THAT is either ignorant or stupid.

By the same token, this in no way means that companies are in control of everything. I think it's safe to say that anyone who leaps to that conclusion is either paranoid or delusional.

If things look like an oligarchy, it's because people aren't speaking up. Companies only have too much power if we let them have it. If enough citizens spoke up, we could kick BP out overnight. Heck, BP would probably be packing up before the votes were tallied. I'd bet on that for sure.

If you want think the worlds biggest corporations don't have complete control over this country and the rest you can. To ME that is just not accepting reality for what it is. It isn't being dillusional or paranoid. What do you think the IMF does? Unfortunately, this is the wrong forum to discuss the details of who controls what because it invariably leads to politics and I'd rather not get banned again.

There are legitimate, non-partisan websites you can go to to find out for yourself the who's who of the financial world and who is buying favors from who. I can tell you, it isn't Joe and Mary Lunchbox that are buying and getting the favors and their vote as well as mine and your's are ignored for the most part.

You are correct on one thing. People aren't speaking up and we have the mess we have because of that. The fact that so few ever say anything is where the problem lies. However, the other problem is that the level of corruption and evil out there around the globe is so high that the average person wouldn't even know WHAT to say to fix the problem.

I know one thing though. Letting Wall Street and now BP get away with what they have done to this country is beyond criminal. It's treasonous. They should surround Wall Street and the Federal Reserve with the Marines and indict the whole lot of them. BP would automatically get theirs at the same time.

The health problems that will further burden our health care system from that spill and the economic problems it has caused because BP didn't do what they were supposed to do is criminal. The dispersants they used are poisonous and the health problems down the road will be devastating to those that live in that area. The average age of a clean up worker on the Valdez spill is 51 years old. This spill was 100% preventable.

A FULL audit of the entire cabal would fix what ails us and the rest of the world. If the biggest corporations and banks don't control everything why is it that a FULL audit of the Federal Reserve has NEVER been done since it's inception in 1913? If the Federal Reserve Note and those that created it and print it don't control anything why did congress just vote to NOT do a FULL audit on the Federal Reserve? Not a PARTIAL audit. A FULL audit.

As far as you saying that if everyone spoke up we could kick BP out overnight? Really? Have you looked at the southern border problem over the last 10 years? 80% of the people in this country want it closed and illegal aliens removed from the country. Why is it that we aren't getting what we say we want? Then, take a look at the health care bill. We said no and they passed it anyway. Why is that? We said "NO" to TARP and stimulus. They did it anyway. Why is that?

Right about now I think a little paranoia is in order for ALL of us and for good reason.

Seems like this has come down to a simple difference of opinion. I'm content to leave it here if you are.

Absolutely. I posted this because I thought it was interesting and probably wouldn't be put on the nightly propaganda.
