I bought some new tires for the Suby on Friday, getting them mounted on Tuesday. They are Yokohama Avid Envigor's, 225/55/16. My choice was between the Continental DWS and the Envigor's, after reading about the soft sidewall issues with the Conti's, I decided on the Envigor's. Based on the initial survey results on Tire rack, it looks like an outstanding tire, good snow traction ratings, which is important to me in Colorado.

The tires coming off the car are Falken's for me.

I'm considering the Yoko ENVigors for my Honda OE replacements. It's between them and Michelin Primacy MXV4. The Yoko's are considerably less expensive and currently have an added $40 rebate at DT/DTD. Leaning towards the ENVigors.

Are stock 205/55/16? If so notice any difference with the larger size tires?

Specification Sidewall Radius Diameter Circumference Revs/Mile
205/55-16 4.4in 12.4in 24.9in 78.2in 811

225/55-16 4.9in 12.9in 25.7in 80.9in 783

Difference 3.5%

My subie is an '04 legacy, stock tire size is 205/55/16, I paid $95/tire, because I work for a Saturn dealer, I get a sizeable discount.
