have been using Bosch plugs since 84 in every vehicle I have had and have put 50thou and more on every set and have had no problem at all with any of them! Never noticed much difference between the plus4's over the plus2's except cost so it's been plus2's except for the set one set of plus4's I did buy. I like them!

We don't even try and use Bosch plugs in the shop anymore - 50/50 there will be problems.
I have used their plug wires and they seem a notch above the generic store brands.
Just don't use those other platinums like Autolite in a turbo, the platinum pucks fall off and do bad things. I think the temps are too high for platinums.

You're asking the wrong person. I experimented w/ basically every spark plug brand that makes resistor plugs (a necessity in Saabs b/c of the ignition system). I check and regap my plugs more than I change my oil. I change my oil about once a month, by the way...
You tried every brand and you settled on AL Plats?

I never found one iota's difference in performance. People make too much a deal out of plugs just like they do oil.
You have to understand, Saab "recommends" NGK and Saab owners think that means they can't use anything else. They confuse this w/ the fact that they MUST use resistor plugs. I've tried Autolite plats, Champion Double Plats, Bosch Supers, AC Delco plats NGK's etc.
Besides, many platinum plugs use Platinum pads or coatings.

They admit using the wrong plug for the application but blame it as a bad manufacture plug? Sounds like they F*cked up, not Autolite. Plus by the looks of it, none of them looked old enough to be making the payment on it or had sense to properly take care of a car. Bad example IMHO.

by the way, Bosch still makes spark plugs here in Germany, the Bosch Super with copper electrode i use is made here
i think the world market is much to big to be supplied from one small place and some kind of politics has its share, the Bosch Silver is not easy to get over here.
and i found that some engines have a strong dislike for some kind of plugs.

I put them in my wife's eclipse about four years ago. It didn't affect it positive or negative.
Bosch makes some fine tools-
Routers, sanders, Cordless drills, corded drills, Recip saws, Circ saws, etc.
I haven't bought a Bosch filter. Did use some of their plugs way back when. No big gain.
I stick with NGK on "***" cars, AC-Delco on GM.
I buy Super Tech, Purolator and Wix filters.
Havoline, M1, Valvoline, and Super Tech oil.
