Bosch Icons fixed the Explorer streak

I've owned three Explorers. Every single one streaked water right in the driver's face. Rain X treatment and wipers didn't help. Today i slapped on some Bosch Icons. Took the streak away. Clear as day! OMG it was so annoying. I figure posting this would help someone out. Thanks for listening! Or reading

The only blades I buy as well, after trying many brands and models over years. They work very well and normally last 2 years before i replace them to regain the 'perfection'.

I like the Motorcrafts better than any aftermarket I have tried. I will have to try the Icons.

Bosch are my go-to's, every two years.

Our '21 Jeep Wrangler Sport had factory aero beam wipers, appeared to be Tricos. When driving in light rain with the top open, the top is almost always open, the wipers made an annoying "whoosh, whoosh" wind noise at the top of their travel. Not horrible, but annoying and noticeable over the cars general road noise. At replacement time, I chose Bosch MicroEdge, old school open frame wipers mostly for the retro look. No more "whoosh" and no noticeable degradation in wiper performance.

UODATE: too good to be true. The explorer windshield has bested yet another set of wipers. The streak has returned. I'm so mad.

You need to really clean your windshield. Obviously you first need to clean it using a Windex like liquid. Then, use a clay bar to get all of the embedded stuff out. Next, you need to polish the windshield with 0000 steel wool or Wizards Mystic Cut Smart Abrasive Compound. Doing this smooths the glass.
