Bosch "Filtech" and Honda Filtech- same?

Bosch is putting the Filtech label on their premium filters. Are they same internally as the Honda OEM Filtech filters?

Bosch's are now rebadged PureOne's since they bought Purolator.

Resurrecting this old post. Any have information on Filtech media in the Bosch filters?

I think the old boxes said Filtech as well when they were made by Champion Labs so my guess is no.

The Honda 'Filtech' is a product of the Filtech company.
Filtech is the American subsidiary of Toyo Roki, the Japanese filter manufacturer.

Perhaps a copywrite battle is brewing; I don't see how Bosh can use that name if the name is a different company.

I agree that the Filtech name being used on the Bosch filters would indicate that they are not the same as a Pure One.

The internal tube on my Honda filter (made by Filtech) looks just like the tube on the Bosch replacement.
