Are some Bosch Distance Plus filters spec'd at 40 micron, and some at 20 micron? The reason I ask is when looking up these filters at Advance Auto, they state "Efficiency: 40 mc". The filters I am interested in are the d3330, d3332, and the d3311. If they are all spec'd at 40 micron, then it seems they must have used 60+ micron particles to get the 99.9% efficiency rating. Thanks

I find it odd that AAP lists that information since even the Bosch website only lists an iso testing procedure.

And, I don't understand how you arrived at the conclusion that procedure/method tested to 60+ um rating?

I'd think the BD+ is at least the same as the P1 with only the 4 smallest filters testing at 40 um. That said, river_rat's tesing showed the BD+ media to be thicker than P1.

None of the three sizes listed is in the small filter size, so afaik it is @20um.

That said, I don't think there is definitive information beyond what is posted on the Bosch site. However, based on r_r's testing though, the BD+ is a solid efficient filter good for up to 15k. In other words, as advertised.
