BD+ has a thicker can and base as advertised, 2x+ the holding capacity and a different media (synthetic blend), than P1. That said, never had an issue with can thickness of any brand.
But they are pricey compared to comparable competitors. If one desires to use them, best obtained as part of an oil/filter promo or using AAP code.
